I live in a north suburb of Dallas, where I'm originally from, with my wife and 2 dogs working for a company that fulfills merchandising and audits for clients inside major retailers. (think, 'Office Space') Prior to that I worked for ESPN Dallas for 4 years as their Promotions and Marketing Manager. Spare time includes lots of patios, lots of baseball/basketball/hockey/golf, lots of pools - you know, because it's hot in Dallas.

I rushed/joined Pi Kapps in 2004 as a freshman. In 2007, I cycled 800 miles in 10 days for "Gear Up Florida" and raised more than $5,000, making me the highest fundraiser on the team. Since graduating from BU, I've been working as a reporter for a local TV station in Naperville. We have a weekly news program where we share the stories of the people, places, and events, that make Naperville unique and a great place to live. I operate camera, write scripts, research, interview people, edit video, and train our interns. My goal is to soon get a job at a major network like FOX, ABC, NBC, OR CBS for a small to medium-sized market.

Joe Glauert , #436
Class of 2011
Interactive Media , St. Louis, Missouri
I joined Pi Kappa Phi in the Fall of 2007, my freshmen year, as part of the Beta Gamma pledge class, seeking good friends and good times, and that's exactly what I got! Also during my tenure as an active, I served as Webmaster for 3 semesters. Since graduating, I have moved back to St. Louis, and I am currently working full-time as a multimedia developer, and freelance for various web design, graphic design, photography, animation, and video editing projects. My goal is to build up a nice nest egg before seeking out my fortune elsewhere, away from my hometown of St. Louis. In my spare time, I can usually be found either playing video games, basketball, drawing, writing, honing my bass guitar skills, or just fooling around in Photoshop. However, there's always the occasional concert or bar crawl in St. Louis that I'll go to with friends.

I definitely stay in touch with the Chapter, especially to assist and advise during recruitment.

I graduated in December of 2012 as part of the Beta Epsilon pledge class. Pi Kappa Phi has helped me grow as an individual, and given me the confidence and maturity that will help me succeed in my future endeavors. The company develops highly-customizable Human Resources Information System software designed to provide total workforce management, payroll, and tax compliance solutions to small and medium sized businesses. I will be continuing my education in the fall of 2013, when I being to pursue my MBA through the graduate school at Louisiana State University Shreveport. While much of my time will be devoted to my new career and attending graduate school in the coming years, when I do have some time to myself I enjoy Stephen King books, firing ranges, driving stickshift, and good whiskey.
